why the "ugh" on the marketplace comment? I think the trailer looks pretty good, and I've seen a lot of positive buzz for it on facebook. I realize that its opening against the Star Wars bohemeth, but aside from that, its a serious Will Smith emotional drama, opening in the same release slot as Pursuit of Happyness (which was a big hit)

Heh, actually forgot to go back and add additional comment to that. Saw it Monday and it was awful. Poor writing, hacked editing and not even sure the actors always buy into their lines. Will's turn is kind of impressive in that he barely speaks but yeah... not a fan.

$163m domestic (against a 55m budget) opened Dec.15 2006 at #1 to 26.5m (Granted, it was only competing against Eragon and Charlottes Web)

looks like this was a bomb. Guess people don't like Big Will anymore. (Might have been a different story if the movie had been critically well received)
