I sometimes put my personal interest in a movie over a realistic view of how the movie will perform at the box office. Handmaiden set box office records in Korea, and has been the best selling Korean film of all time to international markets. Oldboy was fantastic, but in the US, had a very limited release (typical for a foreign language film) Probably too optimistic to expect much more for this.
